Mpumalanga politician Lindiwe Ntshalintshali cost taxpayers R348 000 by staying in a hotel for about seven months because she was allegedly finicky and rejected six houses that were allocated to her.

After her appointment as culture, sport and recreation MEC in May last year, Ntshalintshali stayed at the Emnotweni Sun Hotel in Mbombela until November, according to her department and the department of public works, resulting in a hefty R348 743.29 bill.
