KwaZulu-Natal revealed as rape and murder capital of SA

At a presentation today, Police Minister Bheki Cele revealed that figures related to criminal cases have indicated that two KwaZulu-Natal townships – Inanda and Umlazi – are the most problematic areas.

Inanda, north of Durban, remains South Africa’s rape capital, with 297 cases reported, followed by Umlazi with 293.
