With a price tag higher than that of the infamous arms deal, the tender is expected to attract prominent businesspeople and politicians in the country and beyond.
Some of the names bandied about as potential bidders included current operator Ithuba Holdings, black empowerment investment holding company Hosken Consolidated Investments (HCI), and a company linked to Limpopo businessperson David Mabilu.
