Axed SABC chief operations officer Chris Maroleng has approached the Johannesburg High Court to sue the public broadcaster for R12 million for unlawfully terminating his contract, “defamation and reputational damage”.

Maroleng also wants the SABC board of directors declared delinquent for the manner in which it dismissed him.
