NEWS

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (Nsfas) has told Parliament’s portfolio committee on higher education that it is yet to fund over 9 000 students in this academic year.

Most of these students, 4 653, have not been funded because they were studying courses that were either not aligned with the SA Qualifications Authority, had not been approved by the Council on Higher Education or were still in the process of being renewed by the council.
