Parliament’s legal services department has been asked to investigate Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan’s reluctance to provide details on the sale of SAA.

For 20 months, Gordhan has flatly refused to provide any information about the terms of the deal, according to which 51% of government’s interest in the airline was sold to the Takatso consortium in June 2021.
