A company owned by an SABC radio personality who hosts a programme for kids was allegedly appointed irregularly in a contract to upgrade a wastewater treatment plant in Sannieshof in North West.

Motsweding FM’s Tumi Moetsi, popularly known as Mamane Tumi, confirmed to City Press that she owned Boleng Projects, the company accused by some members of the Sannieshof business forum of improperly benefiting from the 30% set aside for local businesses in the wastewater treatment plant project.
