At a recent press conference, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize officially launched CovidConnect, calling it “an easy-to-use self-service portal to your cellular phone”.

“It is freely accessible through WhatsApp and SMS. What makes it more accessible is that it does not require a user to have a smartphone; it works on any mobile phone,” Mkhize said.
