A cohort of accounting postgraduates who obtained their degrees from Unisa two years ago may find themselves battling to become chartered accountants due to the poor standard of their final assessments.

This was a warning from the SA Institute of Chartered Accountants (Saica) panel led by seasoned accountant Sizwe Nxasana.
