A fresh dispute has broken out between former Universal Service and Access Agency of SA (Usaasa) board chairperson Mawethu Cawe and the agency’s erstwhile chief executive Lumko Mtimde.

This follows Pretoria High Court Judge Daisy Molefe’s judgment on May 28 that found that a report issued by the office of the Public Protector, which led to the disbandment of Cawe’s board in 2018, was invalid.
