What does being a public health specialist entail in the time of the Covid-19 pandemic? For Atiya Mosam, it’s about more than just being a doctor – it has meant feeding families, finding people money for electricity and airtime, and assisting the homeless.

“My goal is to just have one person whose life can be bettered in any way,” she says.
