The scamsters include those pretending to be your bank or your cellphone service provider. The tricks involve SMS and email scams claiming that you must follow prompts to avoid your crypto wallet being locked, and others offering business opportunities. There is one that claims to be from the SA Post Office, asking you to pay duties on a parcel. Many emails also appear to come from trusted sources and ask you to click on a link, which is malicious.
