For the past three weeks there has been a recurring trending topic on Twitter – voetsek, ANC!

It gained momentum after revelations that many contracts for the provision of personal protective equipment were going to individuals and companies connected to he governing party. Those who got a piece of the pie included the sons of ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule, the daughter of national executive committee member Nomvula Mokonyane and the husband of president Cyril Ramaphosa’s spokesperson Khusela Diko.
