The committee is scheduled to announce candidates for the positions of president, deputy president, chairperson, treasurer, secretary-general and deputy secretary-general on Tuesday.

The Kgalema Motlanthe-led committee met on Friday to prepare for the next stage after finalising the consolidated branch general meeting nomination processes for all the provinces for the top six positions and national executive committee (NEC) members.
