Suspended Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s complaint against South Africa at the African Commission for Human and People’s Rights will be checked for compliance and put before the commission’s members for a decision on whether it should be considered.
Mkhwebane complained that government had failed to guarantee her right of access to independent courts in the ongoing parliamentary impeachment process to remove her from office.
