The friction between President Cyril Ramaphosa and ANC secretary-general Ace Magashule has reached fever pitch, with the latter said to be “frustrated” about being micromanaged.

The conflict was laid bare this week when Magashule used his closing summary at the virtual national executive committee (NEC) meeting to plead that he not be “managed”.
