Newly appointed Eastern Cape Public Works and Infrastructure MEC Ntombovuyo Nkopane has been accused of nepotism by her own party.

City Press has seen a heated exchange of WhatsApp screenshots, which were allegedly between Nkopane and ANC provincial secretary Lulama Ngcukayithobi relating to the recruitment of Nomvula ‘Mvulas maFaku’ Qola as chief of staff in the MEC’s office.
