The EFF has disbanded its Tshwane command team, citing the bogus launching of branches by its regional chairperson, Moafrika Mabogwana, who is accused of attempting to ensure his re-election through illegitimate means.

The revelation comes just a few months before the local government elections (scheduled for October) and has left some suggesting that the EFF’s call for the postponement of the elections is due to its lack of preparation for the event.
