Next week, Manicks Mpunwana will become the first black representative of the Freedom Front Plus (FF+) on a city council.

Mpunwana, a member of the FF+ in Limpopo, is being appointed as a proportional representation councillor on the Bela-Bela city council after the previous councillor was elected as a ward councillor last week.
