Rather than achieving unity, the ANC’s NEC meeting this weekend has been marred by disputes, disagreements on policy and widening factionalism 

President Cyril Ramaphosa’s political overview at the start of the ANC national executive committee (NEC) meeting this weekend punted unity and renewal of the organisation, but his words appear to have fallen on deaf ears.
