Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane is worried that more ANC officials in the province will be “assassinated” if there is no high-level intervention to stop the killings.

Mabuyane, who is also the party’s provincial chairperson, revealed that there was a “hit list” targeting party members after the “assassination” of Thozama Njobe, the former council speaker of Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality, who was killed in 2017.
