In the letter to ANC treasurer-general Paul Mashatile – who is running the ANC secretary-general’s office following the suspension of Ace Magashule illness of his deputy Jessie Duarte – the MKMVA said it had withdrawn officially from the East London conference that had been held on April 27, and subsequently lodged a grievance.
