The executive mayor of Ekurhuleni, Mzwandile Masina, doesn’t shy away from expressing his views, even when it is unpopular to do so. From criticising President Cyril Ramaphosa and voicing his unwavering support for former president Jacob Zuma to backing Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma for the ANC presidency at Nasrec in 2017 and his public support for the embattled and suspended party secretary-general Ace Magashule, Masina always speaks his mind.
