Mtsweni-Tsipane’s decision to fire Pat Ngomana (finance and economic development), Gillion Mashego (public works), Gabisile Tshabalala (safety and security) and Norah Mahlangu (human settlements) is not based on poor performance, but reflects her fightback strategy against a groundswell of defiance and opposition she was experiencing from the MECs.
