ANC branches in KwaZulu-Natal’s second-largest region have tasked their newly elected leaders with mounting a province-wide lobby for the endorsement of a review of the party’s step-aside resolution, citing shortcomings in its implementation.
Branch delegates at last weekend’s elective conference of the Musa Dladla region in Richards Bay adopted a resolution that the new regional executive committee, led by chairperson Musa Cebekhulu and secretary Nathi Xulu, “must engage other regions and the ANC provincial structure to investigate the step-aside resolution”.
