While opposition parties, and even some in the ANC would like to see the back of President Cyril Ramaphosa following the damning section 89 panel report this week, it is not going to be that easy.

If Ramaphosa decides to stay on and fight, then the panel, led by retired Chief Justice Sandile Ngcobo, which found that he may have a case to answer regarding the Phala Phala theft scandal, was just the first step in removing him from office.
