One of the trade unions negotiating a wage agreement with government will first propose a number of cost-cutting measures.

Taking into account a shrinking public purse and Treasury’s announcement of a freeze on public-sector wage increases until 2024, the Public Servants’ Association of SA (PSA) is set to table “social justice demands” before the department of public service and administration.
