One of the most asked questions last year was: “Where is Deputy President David Mabuza?”

With Eskom this week again resorting to load shedding, the same question is being asked now about his whereabouts and effectiveness in his role as chairperson of the Eskom political task team established by President Cyril Ramaphosa in February.
