In a statement on Tuesday evening, Saul said it was not unusual for such tactics to unfold in the run up of the ANC elective conference.
“I take note, with deep concern and disappointment, of the latest instalment of false and vile attacks against my person perpetrated by faceless people. This is just a lousy attempt to drag my name into the most heinous of acts that can be perpetrated against a woman. In the process, my family and those close to me, are subjected to unnecessary hurt.
