Midfielder André Hahn is said to be earning €1.75 million (R33.3 million) per season at German Bundesliga club Augsburg.

He is represented by Volker Struth, who is considered to be the top German agent and was ranked fourth on Forbes magazine’s list of the highest-earning football agents in the world. His income last year was R738 million – more than 20 times what Hahn earned.

Hahn, of course, is not Struth’s only client, nor is he his most valuable or high-profile client. That would be Toni Kroos, who plays for Real Madrid in Spain and Marco Reus of Borussia Dortmund, who were presumably major contributors to their agent’s annual income.
