Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that the suspension of Bobby Motaung is indeed over but it remains in doubt whether he will join or has joined the team in the PSL bio-bubble.
The football manager was suspended at the start of August before the resumption of the PSL campaign in the bio-bubble. The suspension ended on Monday, August 31.
The 50-year-old was sanctioned by the club after videos of him at a house party, which is a lockdown violation, circulated on social media.

Club spokesperson Vina Maphosa told City Press: “The suspension ended on the date that was given. If you ask in particular about whether he will join the team in the bubble, right now I cannot say. Many people in the club are not in the bubble so it is not a given.”
There are two matches left before the season is completed with the final round scheduled for Saturday.
Before entering the bio-bubble, players and club staff members had to be tested for the Covid-19 coronavirus.
At the time of the suspension, Amakhosi said Motaung had compromised the team’s efforts to remain Covid-19 free.
“As part of our policies and continuous process of monitoring the public conduct of our members, players and staff, Kaizer Chiefs has decided to summarily suspend football manager Bobby Motaung,” the club said on its website.

“This is a result of a number of videos circulating on social media wherein the football manager is seen taking part in festivities during what looks like the lockdown period. The club has been involved in the internal processes of investigating his conduct, which led to the decision to suspend him.”
Motaung has not said anything since his suspension.
