Meeting Khoza was part of the induction as the 31-year-old defender was officially introduced to the club since his recent transfer from the now defunct Bidvest Wits.

“Obviously, it was the first time meeting the chairman face-to-face because I have been seeing him from a distance – at [events such as ] the PSL awards and obviously he’s chairman of the PSL. He was relaxed and we were joking about some stuff,” said Hlatshwayo at the launch of the club’ new kit for the 2020/21 season on Tuesday.
