Former Orlando Pirates coach Owen da Gama believes the Buccaneers made the most sensible acquisitions – and not panic buys – before the transfer window closed this week.

There was a bit of a mad dash on deadline day of the PSL transfer window, with defending league champions Mamelodi Sundowns, Pirates and Cape Town City announcing big signings.
