Team SA’s dark horse for an Olympic medal, surfer Jordy Smith, feels he has done enough to prepare for the multicoded event in Japan, despite the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in the past year.

The various levels of lockdown around the world meant athletes could not continue with their preparations.
