For most of the 2021/22 PSL season, the Sibiya family was caught up in a relegation battle involving brothers Sipho (31), a defender at Swallows, and Vusi (28), who plays for Baroka.

Sadly for Vusi, Bakgaga were demoted from the elite league, while Sipho survived the drop with the Birds via the promotion/relegation play-offs.
