It was Martin Luther King Jr who said: “There comes a time when silence is betrayal.” It’s a quote that has been shared widely since the death of George Floyd in the US last week, at the hands of Minneapolis police officers.

This week, the US exploded into nationwide protests, which saw President Donald Trump sending in the military to control the demonstrations.Locally, South Africans have railed against the death of Collins Khosa in Alexandra township, Joburg, at the hands of SA National Defence Force members in March.
