#Trending is not married to the idea of even more women who don’t know each other faking friendship on television. We get it, reality TV franchises that group together women who loosely have a common interest often have good ratings. It’s a worldwide phenomenon.

This evening, South Africa once again joins in on the phenomenon through Pastors’ Wives, which premieres on Honey, which is DStv’s newest channel. The show is super predictable.

As the title suggests, these women are married to men of the cloth. Well most of them, anyway. One of them is married to a singer who sometimes performs at churches. The five women are brought together by the show so there are sometimes weird and seemingly unnecessary interactions between them.
