On Monday evening, the news that actor Jamie Bartlett had passed away surfaced. He was 55 years old and was easily one of our best talents in front of the camera lens.

His portrayals were always visceral, and he seemed to go above and beyond the call of expectancy with each role. More than that, he was also a gentleman, someone we would frequently see having a good time around town – be it at the Bowls Club at Zoo Lake in Johannesburg or sunbathing at the Valley of the Waves at Sun City in the North West.
