Moropa refuses to bow to Ngema in R12.5m defamation lawsuit

The 24-year-old, who plays Pabi on the SABC2 telenovela, filed a notice of an intention to defend at the Johannesburg High Court on July 19, seeking that the court strike the matter off the roll and citing that Ngema’s hefty claim was unlikely to be proven during the trial.

City Press previously reported that Ngema filed his claim at the same court, revealing that the sexual harassment allegations levelled against him by Moropa in July last year put him under immense financial strain.
