Some of SA's brightest amapiano stars will take to the stage in Portugal this year.

African music flavours will be the toast of the town at a festival in Portugal this year that will showcase some of the world's best Afrobeat and amapiano talents.

Afro Nation Portugal returns to Portimão Beach on June 28 to 30. The line-up is staggering.

The list is jam-packed with African creativity featuring the likes of Burna Boy and French-Senegalese rap revelation Booba.

They will be joined by US rapper 50 Cent as the headlining acts.

Supporting them will be a host of formidable South African amapiano acts. Taking to the festival stages will be Nigerian acts Asake, Fireboy DML, Ayra Starr and Aya Nakamura from Mali.

The Piano People stage will house The Scorpion Kings, Major League DJz, Uncle Waffles, Musa Keys, Young Stunna, Daliwonga, DBN GoGo, Vigro Deep, Sha Sha, Moonchild Sanelly, Tyler ICU and many more

Tickets went on sale today (Thursday) with more announcements to follow.
