NEWS

Sports wear brand Adidas and local artist Russell Abrahams have collaborated to redesign the FNB water tower in Soweto which is now adorned with legendary athletes and artists.

Abrahams explained: “We sat and discussed which Adidas team members we should put up on the tower. I really wanted to create a fun piece of work that many people could look at and see themselves. “With the running theme being Impossible is Nothing, I wanted to celebrate and hype up individuals who are doing amazing and great things. It is honestly mind-blowing to think of their collective achievements and just exactly how far we’ve come,” he said.
