“Somizi just wants to get married. It’s as if he’s trying to show [his estranged husband, media personality Mohale Motaung] that, even after leaving him, he’ll find another man and settle down,” said another source.
The former Metro FM host has been throwing out hints about his upcoming nuptials on his social media pages and during his reality television show.
In a six-second video clip that Mhlongo shared – and then deleted – on his Instagram account in April, he and another male figure could be seen holding hands while wearing diamond-encrusted engagement rings.

Their divorce has been rocked by allegations of physical and emotional abuse, which will be addressed by Motaung in a tell-all special scheduled to be broadcast on Showmax on August 4.
Mohlala is a powerhouse in his own right, as he is currently appearing in the Mzansi Magic soapie The Queen.
The Pretoria-based actor previously had a stint in Isidingo in the role of Thabang. He is also reportedly a wealthy businessperson in the alcohol industry and the founder of 012 Gin SA.
Talking about his new love interest during his show, Mhlongo said: “He has a career and a house, which means he pays a bond. He has a car and he’s extremely into me.”
The pair allegedly recently celebrated their engagement in Cape Town at Ayepyep Lifestyle.
Neither Mhlongo nor Mohlala have commented on the alleged upcoming nuptials.
