The mining industry, like South Africa’s public and private health sectors, has been maintaining an intense focus on mitigating the impact of the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic on the lives and livelihoods of many people.
We have been reasonably successful in this regard, though we cannot afford to relax these efforts, certainly not until we have a well-vaccinated population.
