Remember back in 2013 when CIA agent Edward Snowden resurfaced in Hong Kong after fleeing the US? Snowden, a whistleblower, had disclosed top-secret information from the US National Security Agency. The US set up a global manhunt for him and, when he emerged in Hong Kong, everybody thought he was trying to get into China.
