The modern day could aptly be defined as the information age; its leading stars the social media sites.

In this age, the accumulation of wealth by individuals has been made much easier and the spectre of “inequality” that is assumed as a given by the many on the left as well as governments, dominates any economic discussion. I will attempt to analogise the complexity that makes up the modern economic structure and its problems using what I will call “social media capitalists”.
