On this National Day of Prayer, let us be reminded of how ubuntu and our Christian values can help us overcome this challenge as a united nation

As the consequences of the cruel dilemma with which the Covid-19 coronavirus presents us bite harder, forcing us to balance people’s livelihoods against their lives, there is a real danger that the nation and its leaders will descend into bickering and posturing.

As we observe the National Day of Prayer for relief from Covid-19 today, Christians celebrate the Day of Pentecost, marking the advent of the Holy Spirit, whom we call our advocate and guide.
