Giving birth for the first time is scary enough, but going through a pregnancy and delivery during a global pandemic takes things to a whole new level.

Add to that the horror stories we hear about our public health sector, and many mothers-to-be must be quaking in their babies’ newly-knitted booties.

One mom, who gave birth two weeks ago at a public clinic, shares her story with Drum. She says she wanted to speak out because there are not enough positive birth stories from the public sector.
