In the photo which was first scrutinized in a closed Facebook group, ‘That’s It, I’m Nail Shaming’, the bride and groom’s hands can be seen lovingly resting on each other on the bridal bouquet and while the bride’s nails have been neatly manicured, the groom’s nails are the exact opposite.

With his nailbed being filled with dirt and the length of his nails being too long, social media users found themselves questioning the groom’s hygiene and even went as far as asking whether the groom had dug a grave before attending his wedding, according to Newshub.

“Is this a funeral and he's dug himself out of a  f***ing grave?" one group member asked.

“Like, did he even shower before the wedding?,” another member commented.

And of course, some group members came to the groom’s defense with one saying at least he was a working man.

Fortunately for the couple, their identity was not revealed in the post.

We just hope the groom was nowhere near the wedding cake when it was cut.

Take a look of the photo of the groom’s dirty hands below below.
