There have been less reasons to get dressed up lately with the whole country on lockdown to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

But just because we are not going anywhere doesn’t mean we can’t have fun with unique fashion looks, even if it means wearing our bedding.

Almost every day, there is a new challenge where people show off their talents and skills.

The #pillowchallenge has been one of the most popular social media challenges, and the past weekend we saw social media users take part all over South Africa. This came after actress Linda Mtoba posted a picture of her wearing black and white pillows with a Gucci belt holding them firmly in place at the waist and Chanel shoes to match and it went viral.

Shortly after, more women began joining in the fun.

Ofentse Omphilee also knocked it out of the park. She wore two pillows with a black belt and a straw hat.

MozMulla was the thorn amongst roses. He also wore a white fur pillow, with a cream-white Fendi belt, paired with white socks and sneakers.

Sihle Lee Carter participated with her mother and her daughter and to say they looked cute would be an understatement.

It didn’t end there, even the little ones got to participate. Parents dressed up their kids in pillows and these are some of our favourite looks.
