But when a four-year-old girl was feeling insecure about her looks, this hairdresser wasn’t having it.

In a viral video which seems to be recorded on Facebook Live, a female hairdresser can be seen doing the hair of a four-year-old girl named Ariyonna as the two have a conversation. As the two continue chatting, the little girl looks into the camera and says, “I’m so ugly.”

Shocked, the hairdresser stops doing the little girl’s her and tells her not to ever say that again. She continues to reassure the little girl that she’s pretty and highlights her best features.

“Don’t say that. Don’t say that. You are so pretty,” the hairdresser says.

“When you look at yourself you’re supposed to say, ‘I’m so pretty’. Do you hear me? You’ve got the prettiest little dimples. You are too cute,” she continues, and the little girl starts to cry.

The hairdresser then picks the little girl up and hugs her as she cries. She continues to tell her how beautiful she is.

Taking to Twitter, many commended the hairdresser for reassuring the little girl while others said that they could relate to how little Ariyonna was feeling, due to their childhood traumas.
